In short: Pen Royale does not ask you to sign up, does not collect personal information, and does not have a database. There is nothing to delete because nothing is kept.

Information we collect

None. Pen Royale has no accounts, no sign-up and no login. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, date of birth or location, and we do not collect advertising identifiers.

Information stored on your device

Practice mode lets you save table setups so you can load them again. These are stored on your own device using your browser's local storage and are never sent to us or to anyone else. Uninstalling the app or clearing the app's data removes them.

Multiplayer

When you play online or with friends, your device connects to our game server so that moves can be shared between players. During a match the server briefly holds, in memory only:

the display name you type before joining (up to 10 characters, chosen by you — it does not have to be your real name);
a temporary connection id, which changes every time you connect;
the state of the match in progress, such as pen positions and whose turn it is.

This exists only for as long as the match is running. It is never written to a database or a file, and it is gone when the match ends or you close the game. Your internet provider assigns your device an IP address, which is necessarily visible to the server in order to send data back to you, as it is for any website; we do not log or store it.

Advertising and analytics

Pen Royale currently contains no adverts, no analytics and no third-party tracking. If that ever changes, this policy will be updated before the change is released and the app's Play Store listing will say so.

Children

Pen Royale is a general-audience game. Because we collect no personal information from anyone, we collect none from children either.

Hosting

The game is served by Cloudflare Pages and the multiplayer server runs on Railway. Like any web host, these providers process the network requests needed to deliver the game to you, under their own privacy policies.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page will be updated.
